A Lovely Setting
Our boutique Arabian horse ranch is located in Northeast Scottsdale in the shadow of Pinnacle Peak and Troon Mountain, only a quarter mile from the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. Nearly 9 years ago, as Alene was looking for a new home for us, she drove by this beautiful 5-acre property with its contemporary southwest ranch house and instantly fell in love with its unique setting. In every direction there were majestic mountain views—the Mazatzals to the north, Four Peaks to the east, Weaver’s Needle and Tom Thumb of the McDowells to the south and, of course, Pinnacle Peak to the west. And when she realized that it was only a stone’s throw to the Preserve—with its 30,000 acres of non-motorized hiking and equestrian trails—she was convinced. Even now, after more than 8 years of living here, the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and the tranquility of the high desert setting have never become old. In February 2019, we even had an amazing 10 inches of snow! Red Bird Ranch, named after the road on which it sits, has turned out to be a spectacular and serene place to live.
